ISO9001:2008 certification

Oilfield Technical Services (OTI) are pleased to announce that they have achieved a renewal of their ISO9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management Systems.

First awarded to OTI in 2008, it proves that OTI have an ongoing commitment to their customers in that we operate certified, quality management systems.

All areas of the business that impact on their customers have been assessed and approved to a consistently high standard.

ISO 9001:2008 is a quality assurance model made up of 20 sets of requirements. This model applies to organisations that design, develop, manufacture, install and service products. ISO expects organisations to apply this model and to meet these requirements by applying their defined quality system.

Managing Director of OTI Zamrin Mohamed Daud said "it is generally recognised that ISO certified businesses such as OTI are undoubtedly more productive, more streamlined and more successful than our competitors’, and we want to make our existing and potential clients aware of our certification".

Zamrin continued "in my opinion, the benefits to our customers of this independent audit and our subsequent certification include improved quality and service, inspection work on time, and OTI’s commitment to quality and system controls. Internally it provides continuous assessment and improvement to our internal processes".

"Becoming an ISO 9001:2008-certified company is a natural extension of our quality and service commitment"

We have always had a strict quality control system at OTI, but the additional structure of ISO 9001:2008 management procedures has helped us to improve our product delivery and customer satisfaction.

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from 163 countries.
